Your quota belongs on your Mac.

Effective 1 September 2026. This pre-release policy describes the privacy architecture already implemented in RRemaining. Seller, payment-provider, and support details must be completed before public checkout opens.

1. What the app processes

RRemaining processes the minimum local information required to show AI usage windows: provider, window label, used or remaining percentage, reset time, compatibility state, and last-update timestamp.

It does not retain prompts, chat content, working directories, transcript paths, browser cookies, provider passwords, API keys, or session tokens.

2. Authentication

Codex authentication is handled by the official local Codex app-server and its hosted ChatGPT login. Claude authentication is handled by the unmodified Claude Code binary. RRemaining does not operate a login proxy or copy provider credentials.

3. Local storage

Quota snapshots and preferences stay inside the RRemaining Application Support area on your Mac. The app includes an action to remove its local data. RRemaining does not send quota history to an RRemaining server.

4. Website and analytics

This website contains no advertising pixels or behavioral analytics. The hosting provider may process technically necessary request logs such as IP address, timestamp, requested path, and browser information for security and delivery.

The app contacts the static update endpoint only after you press Check now. That request contains no quota values, provider state, account details, or device identifier. As with an ordinary website visit, the hosting provider may still receive network metadata such as an IP address and timestamp.

5. Checkout and support

The future hosted checkout provider will process payment, billing, tax, and receipt data under its own privacy notice. RRemaining will not store complete card details. The final provider, seller identity, contact address, received purchase fields, and retention periods will be published before sales begin.

6. Third-party services

The official Codex and Claude Code tools communicate with OpenAI and Anthropic under those providers’ own terms. RRemaining is independent and does not control that processing.
